SAFETY PRODUCTS – Fall Prevention & Stability
Ring Safety Camera
Check on your loved one. 360 Degree Coverage I have this in my home (to monitor the pets) and for about $5 A month it will save recordings.
Wireless Call System
A push-button call system with a 500-foot range.
Bed/Chair Alarm Large
The larger mat is better for beds. This one comes with a call button and wireless receiver.
MOBILITY – Movement, Positioning & Independence
Transfer Disc.
This is a game-changer. Many times you struggle with having your loved one move their feet to turn and sit. Now you just stand them up, rotate and they sit back down.
I LOVE THIS!!!
Transfer Belt with Handles
This gives you something to hold onto while transferring your loved one.
Bed Turning Device
When they can no longer assist with turns in bed, you can put their legs in this and it helps you to turn them.
Positioning Bed Pad
Game Changer for turning and pulling up a loved one in bed.
If you have a bedbound loved one that you are caring for, you need one of these. (maybe even 2 for wash days)
Swivel Shower Chair
Very nice, it’s much easier for the elderly to get into and out of the shower.
Note: Hospice provides these – but not this nice.
Floor Lift – $$$
This is a floor lift. When someone falls you scoot them onto this on the floor, then it raises to lift them. Its $$$ but may just save the day.
It’s a very cool idea, I have never seen one in person.
Bathing and Hygiene
No Rinse Cleanser
Not as good as a shower, better than a baby wipe. You do what you have to do sometimes.
Shampoo Cap
Not as good as a shower, but miles better than stringy, greasy smelly hair. it works on beards too!
Note: follow directions exactly – it will get VERY hot.
LUME Deodorant
This stuff is No Joke. It works for a long time. Sometimes the elderly refuse showers, and it gets smelly fast. This saves the day.
P.S. I just saw it at Walmart -it may be cheaper there.

Incontinence Care
Gloves
Because you don’t want to get poop on your hands.
Disposable Underpads
These things get expensive quick, but you need them to protect your furniture from leaks.
Note: this is a product typically supplied by hospice.
Washable Underpads
This is a must-have item. Much easier to change than a set of sheets. This goes over the sheets and under a disposable pad. It’s your last line of defense against 2AM sheet changes.
Incontinence Underwear for Men
Recommended for light to moderate urinary incontinence. Not for heavy, severe or total incontinence
Overnight Incontinence Underwear for Men
Feels Like Regular Underwear
Powerful 80ml Overnight Absorbency up to 80ml – delivering reliable protection so you sleep soundly through the night

BEDDING, SLEEP & SKIN PROTECTION
Mattress Topper
Because Hospital Beds are awful. Helps prevent bedsores. I have this one on my personal bed.
You need Twin XL
2 Pack Mattress Protectors
Because it’s almost impossible to get urine out of a mattress or memory foam topper.
Twin XL for hospital bed.
Twin XL Bedsheets
This is a 4 pack and priced well. You will not regret having extra sheets.
I like white because Bleach will be your friend.
Waterproof Recliner Cover
Because Recliners are expensive, this one comes with a cute little side pouch

Realistic Baby Doll
Many of my ladies love these. They come in many designs. You may even find one at a local garage sale.
EVERYDAY HELPERS
Electric Pill Crusher
Easier than the manual grinder. You pay for the convenience. It’s probably worth it if you are crushing a lot of medicine.
Medication Planner
If you don’t already have one, this is a must. There will be days when you just can’t remember if you have already given the pills or not.
Nurse Tip = Buy 2 and plan 2 weeks at a time.
Death is Not a Dirty Word
My newest book. Discusses the final weeks and months of life. What you can expect during the dying process and the weeks and months after.
ODOR & LAUNDRY
Anti-Icky POO Spray
Customers find the enzyme cleaner effective at eliminating pet odors, particularly dog and cat pee smells, and appreciate its functionality, noting it works well even on older stains.
