For more than twenty years, nursing has been part of my identity — a calling, a ministry, and a place where God has continually shaped my heart. These days, I serve as a hospice nurse, walking with families through some of the most sacred and tender moments of life.
This website is the space where all of my worlds meet:
faith, hospice nursing, caregiver support, and writing books that help children understand big, difficult things.
Why I Created This Space
Every day, I sit at the bedside with families who are scared, overwhelmed, grieving, or simply unsure of what comes next. They whisper the same questions:
“Am I doing this right?”
“How do I help them?”
“How do I stay strong when my heart is breaking?”
I believe God placed this calling on my life — not only to care for patients, but to comfort the people who love them.
This blog is my way of offering that same support to you.

My heart’s passion: helping children understand illness, death, Heaven, caregiving, and big feelings in a way that is honest and comforting.
My Writing Journey

My Mission
To bring gentle, faith-filled guidance to families facing aging, illness, and the end of life — offering comfort, clarity, and hope in their hardest moments.
If you’ve found your way here, I’m grateful.
I hope this becomes a place where you feel seen, supported, and reminded that God is near — especially in the hardest seasons.
You are not alone.
I’m honored to walk with you.
